KAMRADEK IT-BERATUNG
Privacy Policy
The short version up front: this is a static website. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, and loads no content from third-party servers.
1. Controller
Responsible for data processing on this website:
Wolfgang Kamradek — Kamradek IT-Beratung
Friedrich-Bergius-Weg 5
60438 Frankfurt am Main, Germany
Phone: 0800 / 90 30 222
E-mail: info@kamradek.de
You can find further provider details in the imprint.
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted with Amazon Web Services (AWS); the storage origin (Amazon S3) is located in the Frankfurt (EU) region. The contracting entity is Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Luxembourg; technical services may be provided by the parent company Amazon Web Services, Inc., Seattle (USA). Delivery is handled by the globally distributed content delivery network Amazon CloudFront; TLS encryption is provided by AWS Certificate Manager.
When you access the site, AWS transiently processes your device's IP address to establish the connection and deliver the website. This processing is technically necessary (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR; legitimate interest in a secure and functioning operation). The access log files are deliberately configured without the IP address; they contain only the requested page, timestamp, status code, referrer, and browser type, and serve technical operation, security, and a largely anonymous, aggregated evaluation (e.g. reach and error rate). The log files are automatically deleted after no more than 14 days and are not combined with other data sources.
A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with AWS (AWS GDPR Data Processing Addendum), ensuring processing on our instructions and in compliance with data protection law.
Transfer to the USA: As AWS belongs to the US group Amazon and delivery is handled via a global CDN, processing of connection data outside the EU or access from the USA cannot be excluded. Amazon Web Services is covered under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework via the certification of Amazon.com, Inc. (and its controlled US subsidiaries); the transfer is therefore covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023. In addition, EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2)(c) GDPR) are in place; a copy can be requested from the controller.
3. No cookies, no tracking, no external services
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, or social media services. All resources loaded in the browser — including the terminal font — are served by this website itself; no embedded content is loaded from third-party servers (e.g., no external font or script CDNs). The technical operation of the hosting by our processor is described in Section 2.
4. Local storage in your browser (localStorage / sessionStorage)
For convenience features, this website stores a few purely functional settings locally in your browser only: window positions, the terminal command history, and game progress of the built-in terminal games (localStorage), and — for the current session only — the state of the CRT screen effects, the chosen phosphor colour, and a marker that the boot animation has already been shown (sessionStorage, deleted when the browser is closed). This data never leaves your browser, is not transmitted to us or to third parties, and contains no personal data. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings ("clear site data"). No consent banner is required, as the storage serves only the function you actively use (§ 25 (2) no. 2 German TDDDG).
5. Contacting us
If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process the information you provide (name, contact details, content of your inquiry) solely to handle your request — for pre-contractual or contractual inquiries on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR, otherwise on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required for processing your request and no statutory retention obligations apply. If the contact results in business correspondence of tax or commercial relevance, statutory retention periods may apply (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB; typically six or ten years).
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), and data portability (Art. 20), as well as the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR) — for us: the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
