Certifications and Continuing Education

Continuing education was almost always my own initiative — much of it I worked out on my own and at my own expense. That drive continues to this day. Over the years the path led from UNIX and Linux through DevOps and automation into the cloud, and most recently squarely into AI engineering. Thanks to this experience, I find my way around extensive subject areas and environments in very little time. I keep my knowledge current through many channels: technical books and journals, online courses, videos (for AI mainly YouTube and the Anthropic courses). A publicly viewable example is my course history on Pluralsight (formerly acloud.guru).
